Machine Operator – Brake Press | Multiple Shifts Available | Lexington, VA

We are currently seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Lexington, VA. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in sheet metal fabrication and a strong commitment to safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate sheet metal brake presses.

• Form various metal components according to part prints.

• Use measuring devices to ensure accuracy and quality.

• Understand and apply different tooling configurations with minimal supervision.

• Follow strict safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Shift Options:

• A Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM

→ Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours!

• B Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

→ Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours!

• C Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a related field.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.

• Familiarity with pressure testing, leak detection, and chiller systems is a plus.

• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.

• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety procedures.

• Experience with PLC wiring and troubleshooting preferred, but not required.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Steel-toe boots required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.53 - $26.14/hr.
