Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab position requiring a CA RN license, Epic experience, and at least 2 years of lab experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab unit within an acute care hospital
• Patient population includes neuro and vascular cases for IR RNs
• Day shifts are 4x10 hours from 6:30 to 17:00, scheduled Monday through Friday
• On-call required for 7 days per month, including one weekend per month (Friday to Sunday PM) and one day per week
• Floating between facilities within the state is required
• Epic EMR required for IR RNs and strongly preferred for Cath Lab RNs
• Provide care to patients undergoing interventional radiology and cath lab procedures, including neuro and vascular cases
• Required to wear royal blue scrubs as dress code
• First-time travelers with at least 2 years of lab experience are welcome to apply
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application; holiday time off requests are considered as preferences
• Block scheduling requests are at the discretion of management
• Free parking available on site
• Travel pairs are not considered for this assignment

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active CA RN license required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and CCI certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years recent lab experience in a facility with at least 250 beds required
• Neuro and vascular experience required for IR RNs
• Epic experience required for IR RNs; preferred for Cath Lab RNs
• Scrub skills preferred but not required
• Former permanent staff must have at least a 3-month separation before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• References covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty required
