Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in IFRS who has experience in a manufacturing environment, supporting cost tracking, inventory valuation and production related financial processes. You will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting audits and compliance efforts. · Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
· Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
· Experience in a manufacturing or production-based environment.
· Familiarity with cost accounting principles and inventory management systems.
· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
· Support internal and external audits.
· Help implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the People Manager or required by the business to support team and organizational goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
· 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
· Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Xero) and advanced Excel
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
