Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed for a K-12 school setting, serving students with mild to severe multiple disabilities. This contract position is itinerant, requiring travel to multiple sites throughout the week while supporting a diverse caseload in a structured school environment in Irvine, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer standardized assessments such as BOT-3 and Peabody to students aged 3-22 with varying disabilities.
• Manage an evolving caseload of students requiring assessments, therapy, and consultations.
• Develop individualized schedules that meet district needs, balancing visits across seven different locations.
• Utilize clinical expertise to provide school-based therapeutic interventions independently, without on-site OT support.
• Leverage data effectively to address parent concerns and support service recommendations.
• Maintain clear documentation and collaborate with education teams to support student progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in school-based or extensive clinical occupational therapy roles.
• Familiarity with assessment tools including BOT-3 and Peabody preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously in the field and effectively manage caseload fluctuations.
• Strong communication skills to engage with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Flexibility and organizational skills to navigate itinerant work and multiple site visits.
• Understanding of the unique therapeutic needs of children and young adults with mild to severe multiple disabilities.

Location: Irvine, CA
Work Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Duration: Contract for the current school year
