Overview Field Nurse Educator IQVIA is a global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence. We support biopharma clients by educating patients and prescribers, helping them access markets and demonstrate product value to payers, physicians and patients. The Nurse Educator program focuses on educational resources for patients with chronic diseases who have been prescribed specific medications. Educators provide disease- and medication-specific education and connect patients with approved patient-based resources. They do not provide medical advice or practice clinically within this role. Responsibilities Coordinate and facilitate the connection between patients and program-approved, patient-based resources. Provide direct educational training to patients on specific disease states and assigned medications. Support multiple disease states and medications as needed. Provide patient-focused education to promote behavioral change and improve treatment adherence and outcomes. Foster appropriate dialogue between patients and healthcare providers. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and/or BSN preferred. RN licensure required in state of residency; compact multi-state license as available per state. Current nursing license in good standing. 5+ years of clinical healthcare experience (hospital, home health, pharmaceutical or biotech). Nurse educator experience preferred. English/Spanish bilingual preferred. Valid driver’s license. Ambassador must live in the designated territory as determined by the business. Direct interaction with patients to support persistence and compliance. Knowledge of clinical data and pharmacology. Strong time management, planning, prioritization and multi-tasking abilities. Effective presentation skills and ability to motivate others; strong written and verbal interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally and independently. Ability to develop, follow and execute plans in an independent environment. Dedicated home workspace. Ability to build positive relationships internally and externally. Adaptability to changing work environments and responsibilities. Fully competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and iPad technology. Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings. Travel up to 60–70% of the time. Position may require compliance with client requirements that on-site personnel be fully vaccinated. Benefits Annual salary + car allowance + potential bonus. The potential base pay range for this role is $95,000-$105,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on factors including qualifications, experience, location and schedule.
