Seeking an Experienced TIG Welder & Fabricator

Location: Clearwater, Florida (33762)

In this role, you’ll be responsible for fabricating components using various welding techniques, assembling structures, and ensuring top-tier quality in every piece you produce.

Shifts Available:

1st - 6am-4:30pm

2nd - 4pm-2:30am

-Mon-Thurs

-Fri is an OT day or a make up day

-prefer to be flexible for both shifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Fabricate components using TIG welding and other techniques based on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Assemble parts into larger structures with precision alignment and fit.
• Inspect finished workpieces to ensure they meet quality standards, making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain welding equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to meet production goals and resolve fabrication challenges.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and quality control measures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience.
• TIG welding expertise (required).
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Fabrication experience with stainless steel sheet metal, pipe, and tubing.
• Comfortable working with materials from 18 gauge up to 1/4 inch thick.
• Must have basic tools and welding gear.
• MIG welding experience is a strong plus.

Work Environment

You’ll be working in a spacious 55,000 sq. ft. open-bay facility equipped with large fans. While it’s not air-conditioned, the layout is designed to support a wide range of welding and fabrication tasks with plenty of room to work comfortably.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
