UI/UX Designer Location: Onsite role at the Shipley Building, 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus The selected Consultant will be responsible for designing modern, intuitive UI/UX solutions and translating business requirements into effective, user-centered graphical interfaces. This role involves close collaboration with business users, project managers, IT leadership, and development teams within an Agile environment to solve complex design challenges and influence product direction. The Consultant will research, design, and develop user interfaces using industry-standard prototyping tools, create wireframes and interactive prototypes, and support applications built using N-tier architecture. The role also includes establishing reusable design systems, conducting user research and usability testing, ensuring secure and compliant UI designs, and providing a seamless design handoff to development teams. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze UI requirements through collaboration with stakeholders, business users, and engineering teams Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and intuitive user interfaces supporting complex business processes Participate in all stages of the product lifecycle, from discovery and research through design and delivery Conduct user testing, research, and analysis to validate and iterate on design concepts Create and maintain a reusable Design System library Work closely with developers to ensure accurate UI implementation and backend integration Ensure UI/UX designs follow best practices, accessibility standards, and secure coding principles Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and design reviews Provide technical guidance and mentoring to technical staff Lead design discussions, manage competing priorities, and build consensus across teams Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of experience translating UI requirements into intuitive graphical user interfaces 8+ years of experience designing site architecture, navigation, and user-centered interfaces 8+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment The ability to learn new tools quickly 5+ years of experience using design tools such as Figma 5+ years of experience delivering products end-to-end within cross-functional teams 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET and C# Strong understanding of secure UI design and coding practices for ASP.NET MVC applications Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing time and priorities effectively Must be proficient in spoken and written English Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Contract Job function: Information Technology Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at eBusiness Solutions, Inc. by 2x Get notified about new User Experience Designer jobs in Columbus, OH . #J-18808-Ljbffr eBusiness Solutions, Inc.
