Tax Accountant - CPA Firm (Remote, Aventura, FL) Location: Aventura area of Miami, FL (Remote with occasional in-office meetings)

ARC Group is seeking an experienced
Tax Accountant to join a well-established CPA and tax consulting firm based in
Aventura, FL . While this role is primarily
remote , the ideal candidate should be local enough to attend occasional on-site meetings as needed.
Our client is known for its long-standing reputation of excellence and personalized client service. They are looking for a dedicated professional who can prepare a variety of tax returns and contribute to their growing team.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns.
- Handle general accounting duties, including preparation of general ledger (GL) entries.
- Calculate and prepare estimated federal and state income tax payments.
- Conduct year-end accrual reviews and prepare tax provisions.
- Prepare various personal property and other business tax filings (Annual Reports, Intangible Tax, Sales & Use Tax).
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Required Qualifications - Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in a Public Accounting or CPA firm (CPA license not required).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Hands-on experience preparing and/or reviewing individual and business tax returns.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with FastTrack or similar tax software .
- Proven experience with complex tax preparation , including corporate returns.
Preferred Qualifications - Bilingual in English and Spanish.
