Let’s embark on this journey together!As a Surgical Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Mesa Clinic with potential travel to our Payson and Florence Clinics. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate is someone who can be assertive and confident. You must possess great decision-making skills, excellent time management, and the ability to effectively communicate with multiple Physicians and colleagues while having the eagerness to learn.
Responsibilities Surgical AssistingWound careClinic/vitalsUpdate and file medical records and insurance reports.Arrange/schedule outside testing and referrals.Chart documentationAssist during medical examinations.Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.Physiological studiesPrepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments - Knowledge of sterilization procedures and protocols.Clinical decision makingPhone triage Skills Knowledge of medical office management systems and proceduresExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workSocial perceptiveness and service-orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skillsNextGen, Centricity, FIVOS(Medstreaming)/EMR knowledgeBeing bilingual is a HUGE plusRequired: 1 year of Back Office Medical Assistant experience; the Company is willing to train on Front OfficeMedical Assistance Certification is preferred but not required Benefits 401k with matching up to 4%Health InsuranceDental + VisionLife insuranceAccident Insurance LTD & STDPaid time off + Paid sick timeTravel reimbursement Compensation will depend on experience and can be discussed during the interviewing process.
