We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Superintendent for our Commercial TI Construction division. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the construction industry, working on a variety of projects ranging from office spaces and retail stores to ground-up construction and high-end remodels. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Commercial TI, Office, Retail, Ground Up, Remodel, and High End projects. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a General Contractor.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Superintendent, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring that projects are completed within time and budget constraints.
2. Coordinating and supervising the work of all construction activities and subcontractors on construction sites.
3. Ensuring all construction is in compliance with design specifications and quality control.
4. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
5. Managing and mitigating project risks and issues, and ensuring safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
6. Preparing and submitting project reports, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
7. Participating in project planning and contributing to the development of construction strategies and schedules.
8. Resolving any on-site issues or disputes, and providing technical advice as needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Superintendent position should have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on Commercial TI, Office, Retail, Ground Up, Remodel, and High End projects.
2. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
4. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
6. Proficiency in relevant software, including project management software and MS Office suite.
7. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8. Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.
