Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized occupational therapy services within a K-12 school setting located in Merced, CA, supporting students' educational and developmental needs throughout the current school year (CSY). This contract position requires a dedicated professional to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that enhance students functional abilities and academic performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students occupational therapy needs based on educational and developmental goals
• Design and deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student requirements across the K-12 spectrum
• Work closely with teachers, counselors, and families to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials applicable to school-based practice
• Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques, including sensory integration and fine motor skill development
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with educational staff and families
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain detailed records
