Summary :

Member of the investment management team. Supports senior investment management staff assisting with investment oversight, research requests and updating materials for internal and external distribution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Supports multiple professionals engaged in investment management, manager due diligence, equity research and marketing support

Portfolio Monitoring

• Track performance of proprietary investment portfolios
• Identify and evaluate underlying drivers of performance
• Participate in equity research and mutual fund model portfolio working group meetings
• Take notes and assist with gathering supporting data to support productive working group meetings

Due Diligence

• Perform initial screening for potential new investments
• Participate in and take notes on regular update calls with existing fund managers
• Review quarterly earnings reports of portfolio companies

Administrative
• Sources data and provides commentary to support periodic internal updates and client presentations
• Prepares materials for use in monthly Investment Committee meetings
• Collects and updates information used in RFP responses; compiles the responses to RFPs
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:

1. Undergraduate college degree in finance or an investment-related field and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
