🏗️ Commercial Construction Estimator / Project Manager 🏗️

💰 $80,000 – $120,000 annually

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to lead construction projects from concept to completion. In this role, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, and contractors to prepare accurate estimates, manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee all aspects of project delivery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bids, and proposals in advance of deadlines.
• Review blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to define scope of work.
• Solicit vendor and subcontractor bids; negotiate for best pricing.
• Perform field evaluations and take-offs for accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors throughout the project.
• Maintain accurate job cost records for ongoing and future projects.
• Direct and oversee construction from pre-planning through completion.
• Supervise compliance with building codes and safety standards.
• Generate cost projections, track budgets, and deliver on project goals.
• Lead workforce management, including subcontractor oversight and employee evaluation.
• Conduct pre- and post-project reviews to optimize future performance.

Qualifications

✔ Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred).

✔ Minimum 3+ years in estimating or project management in drywall/acoustical/metal framing (required).

✔ High School Diploma or GED (required).

✔ PMP Certification (bonus).

Preferred Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, blueprints, and safety regulations.
• Expertise in drywall, acoustical, and metal framing trades.
• Proficiency with construction/project management software (preferred).
• Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
