Job Title: PM Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are urgently looking to hire two skilled PM Maintenance Technicians for the day shift (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM). One role focuses on mechanical expertise, while the other on electrical expertise. This position requires hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, specifically within heavy preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, rebuild, and maintain plant equipment.
• Diagnose and repair problems, not just replace parts.
• Conduct troubleshooting of aluminum extrusion presses and auxiliary equipment, including PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors.
• Read and understand drawings, blueprints, schematics, code requirements, service manuals, and manufacturers' specifications.
• Contribute to safety and environmental programs to meet regulatory requirements.
• Perform maintenance safety program audits, including Lockout/Tag out, Confined Space, Fall Protection, PPE, and mobile equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and make necessary repairs or improvements.
• Maintain an electronic backlog of Work Requests and Work Orders with maintenance planners.
• Promote and enforce the elements of ISO 9001 as they apply to the maintenance department.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy industrial machinery.
• Strong electrical skills and experience, especially in troubleshooting and knowledge of hydraulics.
• Extensive experience in industrial maintenance, particularly with Electrical/PLC, Robotics, Mechanical, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Welding, Machining, and Conveyor systems.
• Strong experience with Electrical (AC/DC, 480 V systems knowledge) and PLCs.
• Experience with CMMS or work order systems.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits, wire installation/termination, combustion, power distribution, process control computers, conduit threading, bending, and installation, AC and DC drives, and welding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing concepts and OSHA requirements (preferred).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 elements and understanding of their applicability to the department.
• Experience with Rockwell software is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $73923.00 - $80558.00/yr.
