Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety programs and policies.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
• Provide training and resources to employees on safety practices and procedures.
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as a resource for employees regarding health and safety concerns.
• Prepare and present reports on safety initiatives and compliance status to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in health and safety engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
