In this role, you will leverage your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) to create detailed schematics and mechanical designs that drive our projects forward. You will collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure that every design meets the highest standards of quality and functionality. What you’ll do

• Develop precise 2D and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and Creo.
• Create detailed assembly drawings and schematics that adhere to ASME codes & standards.
• Utilize Bluebeam and NavisWorks for project coordination and collaboration with team members.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate design performance under various conditions.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports that clearly communicate design intent and specifications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of system designs.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in all drafting work.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology to enhance design processes.

Basic qualifications

• Proficient in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation, Autodesk Inventor, Pro/ENGINEER, and Creo.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Experience in drafting and mechanical design within the construction industry.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with 2D animation techniques for visual presentations of designs.
• Experience in system design and assembly processes.
• Technical writing skills for creating clear documentation and reports.
