Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Janitor to join our Flagship team. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and sanitation of our client facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting various areas within assigned area.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygienic conditions at all times.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
• Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning emergencies to ensure safety.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with airport security and safety regulations.
• Assist in special cleaning projects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 or more months experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions required.
• Completion of significant safety training is required.

Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time including the ability to walk long distances. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move a minimum of 40 pounds of office and facilities equipment (cleaning products, tools, and ladders) and trash and the ability to safely use the equipment provided. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
